George P. Elian founded and has been the Principal of Projects Design llc based in Santa Monica, California, since 1979, three years after graduating from the Southern California Institute of Architecture.
Projects Design has enjoyed much critical acclaim and success over the years catering to a highly selective design-sensitive clientele.
With a powerful and key emphasis on design, his commissions have included a broad range of building types varying in scale from custom residential structures to commercial interiors and restaurants. As a design consultant, projects have included educational facilities, large civic and mixed use projects, as well as the competition winning entry for an amusement park on the Santa Monica Pier.
In addition to architectural and interior projects, Mr. Elian has also been active in furniture design, and graphic design, including company brochures, catalogs and corporate identity programs. Believing in the integration of the visual arts, George's furniture design is often an extension of the spatial concepts developed in his architectural vocabulary.
Taking his design sensibilities to another level, he is currently in the process of developing a children's interactive building system.
